  1. Why can't you mention Chick N Deli by name? Are you ashamed of your past?

  2. @Blin. You would think so, but I'm not ashamed at all. I actually forgot the name of the joint when I was recording the segment so thank you for reminding me. In fact, Merlin's was actually worse than Chick N Deli because it was the spillover joint when Chick N Deli was full, which makes my history that much sadder.

  3. Remember the "Party Crew" at Merlin's? They were there to make people get up and dance. Very sad.

  4. Oh jeez I forgot about the party crew. But yea, they were like one of those "animation teams" you get at caribbean resorts, where they get fat, soft white people to dance terribly poolside. These same white folks think they're getting to know the locals, and also believe they're immersing themselves in local culture because they paid 10 bucks to some kid on the beach to have their hair braided. They actually believe the servers at the buffet and the bartenders are really happy, smiley, friendly people when in fact, they're just looking for a big fat tip at the end of the week. But, I digress..

  6. Dear Blin. Thank you for your kind insult. Indeed, Episode 4 of HGR was recorded just this afternoon from the Hobo Gauntlet Radio Studios (also known as my living room). I always notify my millions of listeners about new episodes via social media, so you can add me on instagram (hobo_gauntlet) or twitter (@hobogauntlet). If not I will mention it here too.

Thank you for listening while you crisscross the hinterlands of Australia...in other words, when you're too far from civilization to get a damn radio station - just stay away from that damned Wolf Creek! That Mick Taylor will make you some wallaby stew but then he'll cut off your junk..
